Devblog 2: Mouse sensitivity, bugfixes and masks


After some suggestions I added a mouse sensitivity option to the settings menu (reachable from the main menu), you can either use the slider or type in a value above 0, the old sensitivity will be 1, so if you want half the sensitivity just type in 0.5 for example.

I also added 10 different masks for the robbers, they can choose their mask before the round starts in the character selection screen. You can equip a mask if you are a robber by pressing M (or whatever key you binded for โ€œToggle Maskโ€), this will reveal your identity as a robber but will give you a 20% damage reduction, so use it if you have no other option than fight or if your strategy involves killing a cop that guards an entrance for example.

I also added animations and sounds to the second, flying helicopter (you can call him with the ability of the โ€œHeavyโ€ class as a robber) and fixed a lot of bugs, regarding hacking or thermal vision. You can now longer move while using thermal vision to balance it a bit more.

I fixed a few other bugs aswell, servers wont be duplicated after a server browser refresh anymore, for example.

The AI received some changes aswell, they should panic now if they see a robber (not a cop) with a gun equipped or if they hear gunshots (no matter who fired them), they will try to run away from the danger and sprint while doing so, giving robbers an option to disguise themselves why sprinting (since NPCs dont normally do that) and giving cops an indication where an armed robber might be. I will improve AI further, this is a very early implementation, dont worry.
