Development and Linux/Mac versions

Hey everyone!

Development is paused at the moment.

WHY??????????????

Because… well… it’s not really paused, but it is slower. This is since I am upgrading to GameMaker: Studio 2 Desktop hopefully mid-April, but until then I am stuck with GMS1. Now, I do not want to create loads more content for the game only to have to redo it in GMS2. Oh, yeah, I will be remaking the game when I upgrade. I’ll be copying some code, though!

Until then, I have had the idea to create a Twine mini-story based off the Choices game. We’ll see how that goes.

And about the Linux and Mac versions, upgrading to GMS2 Desktop allows export to Windows, Mac, and Linux. HOWEVER this does require a Mac. Which I don’t have. Once again, I don’t think we will be having a Mac version anytime soon. Linux on the other hand, I might get working!

Seriously, LET ME DEVELOP FOR A MAC, APPLE!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
