Development Branch

i’ve created a development package for working on the game going forward. i’ll leave the preview build up as the primary package until the development package is ready to be the primary package. and eventually i’ll try to release a stable package… and go out of early access.

but for now the development package is kinda sparse… it’s mostly just the updated menu and the start of a beginning area. this area is going to be easier to get around… with some more challenging paths that should lead to harder areas.

i’ll need to get a zone system setup to do seamless zoning so i can have a relatively large map. i think i also will want to redo the sprite sheets i’m using.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
