Development Day #1

Hey guys its Nic, I have decided to do this little Dev-Log on Mortals to show progress when working on it. Today is day 1 of development and what I have been doing is adding and separating the sprites from the sprite sheet! I got this neat sprite sheet off of http://quale-art.blogspot.com/ . I am not just using these sprites, I am adding to the sheet and trying my best to keep the same style.
In terms of actual game development I have quickly done a prototype of a turn based battle system just to see what it would look like, I am actually quite proud of it and I may even do a tutorial on it on my YouTube channel. It will definitely not be final but I just wanted to see how it would work and if I could make it work! I’m probably gonna work a little bit on a grid based movement system!
Tomorrow hopefully ill have some more to show you!

Thanks again for taking the time to view this and please help me spread the word of this project so i can get more support for it!
