Development Stats #1

I’m sure some of you are wondering about the current state of this game, so here are some fun development stats for your reading pleasure.

As of 8/21/2014 10:29 AM EST:

Animation Frames - 8,776

Player Models - 15

Enemy Models - 17

NPC Models - 1

Stage Screens - 20

Movies - 6

Music - 50

Sound Effects - 411

Entities Loaded - 129

Entities Known - 120

Total Entities - 249

Before anyone asks, 15 player models does not actually mean 15 playable characters. I often make enemies playable so I can test them more effectively. There are secret playable characters of course, but I won’t spoil how many.

Today I've finished placement of the stalactite hazards and tiled out two new rooms for the caverns. One leads to a hidden merchant while the other is the entrance to a boss room. #castlevania #gamedev
