Development Update

Hello there,

This game went on a hiatus for about a month and a half due to extremely complicated real life crap, mainly involving me making enough money to get back in to school. It involved a lot of couch surfing, eating ramen, and being in less than favorable living conditions. Point being, I was not particularly in the mindset that makes for good coding or good game design decisions. Things are leveling out, motivation is growing, and progress is once again being made.

During that time, we’ve changed our mindset a bit as far as what we’d like to do, and how far we’d like to take Omegalith. We’ll likely end up polishing things up, adding one more new trap, and fixing up most the things listed previously sans more traps and such. I’ll likely be putting together an Android build as well, which will almost certainly be free to download.

So, what’s taken a hold of our interest? Well, to not spoil too much, it’s a card game. Taking queues from MTG and Hearthstone we’ve written out the basic gameplay, and started work on lore and the cards that will be available. The idea that sparked our interest was the idea of fictional religions warring for superiority. This core concept shows itself through some of the basic gameplay elements, and will be further brought to life through the abilities of certain followers, and flavor text. The first incarnation of this will likely include cards that you can print out, a rule book, and so on. Later incarnations will HOPEFULLY include a fully programmed game with online capabilities (this is uncertain).

Anyways, I know few are following Omegalith or really anything I’m working on, regardless, might as well keep development news up to date.

Cheers,
PianoHands

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Hello my space friends! Now I added a space background to the ship. I love that space look but I still feel like stuff is missing. The lighting on the ship needs some improvements I think. Please tell me your opinion!
