Happy Halloween everyone! Sorry I didn’t have anything big planned for this day (although I original did, but I pushed it off for later for … reasons), however, I do have plenty of stuff to talk about today, so here we go!
With the development of FNAF 2 UCN complete, I finally got back to work on the game as soon as I could. Right off the bat, I had new ideas and ways to work with some stuff I learned while making UCN, and as such I reworked certain portions of the game to work just a bit more efficiently.
While this is good and all, I decided to replace a certain HUGE portion of the game to help speed up the development process just a bit. Although I wouldn’t say too much about it, I will say that it would have worked similarly to the “in-between night” portions of Drawkill’d 1, except being far more complex to make and learn. It was taking already 2 MONTHS just to get the map layout finished, and there was basically nothing else in it, so I have a feeling if I kept it up, the game wouldn’t even release until 2019, so I finally decided to just replace it with something a bit … different.
Hopefully you all wouldn’t mind this slightly significant change, I just want to finally move on from this project. I have so many new ideas for other “Non-FNAF” games that I have kept in mind for almost a year now, and I finally can see myself going through with them very soon, so we’ll see how that goes …
In the mean time, just know that things should be smooth sailing from here … hopefully.
