Development Update! ( + soundtrack poll)

Hey, it's been 2 months since i've resumed development.

Yes, I know you all want more pictures and juicy details, but you'll have to bear with me some more time.

I've been mainly working on the player side of things, fleshing out how he works, polishing the new mechanics being added, all of this was needed in the OG game, but was eventually pushed back, due to the way I published things:

Having to push out monthly content with demotivation issues and a lot of studies that just kept getting more tedious was incredibly hard for me to do, and sometimes i'd just get a single room done and think "This isn't enough".

While for such a big project, it's obvious that wasn't enough, it was honestly really hard for me to work on so much at the time.

But now i've got a way more organized mind, and with the help of some unannounced projects made specifically to improve my skill in game development, I think development WILL be able to work way more smoothly.

This is the part were I ask for patreon money to fund development, but like i've said, I don't think that's necessary, while so far i've only got as little as 4 team members, they're incredibly helpful, and i'm advancing a lot with them.

Now that i got the boring stuff out of the way, here's some stuff I wanted to talk about!

I spent all of the hiatus time to learn the basics of C# (A programming language), which was incredibly fun, and again, i got more experience in development thanks to it! While Unreal Engine doesn't use C#, it will still come in handy if some future projects rise up.

Another thing I wanted to talk about: Soundtrack.

In the game's page you can see that we've got Shadow composing all of the soundtrack (and even some sound design!). He's been a close friend of mine for years, and he's doing all of this for free!

So, 2 things:

  1. Should i use the currently available pieces of music for the game, or scrap them? While i think they could fit, the community's opinion is always appreciated. If you haven't already, go vote on the poll!

  2. Please also show some support to him, he's incredibly talented and deserves more than what he currently has!
