Devlog 1+ Menu Showcase


Hello everyone, I thought it's been long enough since the game has been announced as well as a handful of progress being made so I'll finally do a devlog, as well as showing off the menu as you can see right now.


So far almost everything has been coded, like the menu, bare mechanics (cams, flashlight, etc) & more importantly almost all characters are finished, only 2 remain that need to be coded. After that everything else should be easy work.

I've gotten awesome help from based people like @jesterslumber , @Mega-dizzy , @EmilioTheDj & @PizzaPasta100 . making development again even more easier for me.

I know I have not shown off much of the game so far & thats because of spoilers, this game is doing something no trtf 1 remake or reimagining has ever done & I will not ruin the wonderful surprise you'll get when you play the game just so you have more to look at on the gamepage.

I did plan to reveal some of it through teasers but due to some issues that probably won't be happening now.

The characters will also be given code names in the game, for example sugar will not just be called sugar but instead will be called "The Dismantledโ€, further example dug will be called "The Shadow" etc etc, I'm sure you get the idea.

Why? because 1. Cannot reveal because spoilers & 2. I think its neat (marge simpson moment).


Now with all those awesome news out of the way, I have the funniest thing to say which is I might take a lil break from the game. Just to be clear, development has been lots of fun & I'm very happy with the project, but It's been real hard work putting all the pieces together & having all my focus on this for weeks. it's starting to take its toll, so I might work on something smaller & then come back to this later.

I need to wait anyways for the above-mentioned friends who are helping with this to get certain things done, so it's the perfect excuse for me to not work on the game & do something else in the meantime.

Iโ€™m going to be real for a moment here, I might just give up on making Source mods, at least for TF2. They require a ton of work, and in the end, you likely won't even build much of a community... which is kind of what you need for any multiplayer thing.
