Devlog 2: Introducing the Party


Hello!

I have been working on the game whenever I can, progress is going to be a bit slow due to school.

But I think it's time to introduce the 4 party members that are going to be joining you during the game!

(I'm using the character generator for now, these aren't the designs that are going to be in the final game)

-----------------------The Cast-----------------------

Amilia Greywolf

Class: Warden (Warrior)

The main character you're going to be playing as. A hunter ready to prove themselves as an adventurer.

High damage attacks, plus some rune skills to mix things up.

Derrick Arcanis

Class: Arcanist (BLK Mage)

The first party member you'll get early on. A lost noble with some odd mannerisms trying to get back home, who also intends to prove he's better than his brother.

Classic black magic skills, being able to use fire, ice, and thunder to destroy his foes. Using aether skills will allow him to create magical barriers to protect himself and others.

Pyre Dracenstride

Class: Draco Priest (WHT Mage)

A party member you're going to find at some point (I'm still not sure). A worshiper of a dragon god, Pyre intends to use her magic to aid those that need help.

Classic white magic skills, healing as well as wind magic. Using devotion skills will allow her to channel the might of a dragon to screw opponents up, but leaving her vulnerable.

Evelyn Crestspark

Class: Trickster (Rouge)

Also a character you'll find at some point. A trickster with a death wish, Evelyn intends to see (and most definitely mess with) the weirdest things the world has to offer.

Using trick skills will allow her to pull various damaging effects to weaken foes, wait for the perfect time to deal massive damage. Focus skills will help her stay in the fight long enough to use these tricks.

These are early-ish concepts, so I'm willing to hear some ideas to improve these characters. Ideas for characters I can add later are welcome, but I'm not at that point so please maybe wait on those ideas.

One other thing I just want to say, thank you to those who have followed my project. It may be small, but it shows people have an interest in my work, which helps me continue to have the motivation to work on this project.

Once again, thank you. It means a lot to me.
