DevLog 2!
This is gonna be a longer Devlog than the previous one
(Also sorry for a week without updates, been busy with other projects as well as slowing down on life)


A.I News

The Character's A.I's (5/9) are more less done, with their campaign/story mode AI stuff being done with it all seeming to run smoothly too!
Dewey, Delilah, Palatina & Papilomo's AI are more or less the same from the original Cafe, With Drewie having a more expanded "Hide & Seek" Like mechanic for him, as it fits him more of being an annoying, dumb, goofball
Everyone else's AI path & What not remains the same
- Dewey's path being strict and almost not random
- Delilah being a bit random & her path being a bit random too
-Palatina being a wildcard & trickster, only being a nuisance in certain situations
- Papilomo being a warning & sabotager

CHARACTER INTERACTIONS

Character INTERACTIONS between the main 5 are done, & before you ask, THERE IS A LOT, the image below is just for Drewie, I have to make it so if two characters are in a camera they change, that's the simplest I can explain it btw...

CAMERA STUFF + PAPILOMO EXTENSION

So The Camera stuff, such as the Audio Stun, Repair & Watcher are all done!
Audio Stun is pretty self-explanatory, stuns characters in camera, but be careful it might not be the best against certain people ;)

Repair, fixes broken cameras, this will be helpful with a certain someone having the new ability of breaking them, as well as Papilomo being able to kill you after 5 cams are broken

Watcher, set a watcher in one of the cameras that are up & ready! it'll tell you who's in that camera & apply the positive effects to the character like if you were watching them!

Now for Papilomo, I decided to increase his Attack timer, so you get more time to look off his camera, BUT, it no longer goes up back if he isn't watched, so be wary & quick!

MODIFIERS

Modifiers will make a comeback to this game too, with the addition of them being able to turn on & off after certain challenges are beaten with them!
so far 2/8 of them are complete (those being the two simplest ones lol)
Doorless & $1 Light

Doorless = Closing your Doors isn't an option anymore, this will allow anyone who's in the hallway to almost INSTANTLY attack, so you gotta be fast with you hear them

$1 Light = You won't be able to see much + Your light is like 25-50% less effective against certain characters

OVERALL

Progress is going slowly but smoothly so don't worry about anything bad happening, I do predict a 3-Night Demo to release sometime in March & trust me, it'll be worth the wait, till next time my friends!

Next up

After TWO months, I have finally finished the Demo Cutscenes.... I just need voice acting now....also finish up something for Night 3 and then beta test and then demo, so expect demo by late April

(I am about to lose it)

Game will be paused for awhile until I finish some other shit

But in the meantime

Everyone's outfit now matches who they are and their personalities

And a new character to the roaster (slightly inspired by Javier's FNAOM game) Penny (Dragon Fruit)

Characters are getting Slight updates to their outfits

(add the dust man theme from mega man 4) omg its dust man from fnf
