Howdy,
Hope you're all having a great day.
Welcome to our first official devlog / update here on our Gamejolt. This week, our team has been busy creating new content for Undertale Orange, starting off with a remastering of our Bravery theme, which you can find here (Bravery).
Lots of other work is being done in terms of music, but that's not all...
- Demo Progress -
In terms of spritework, progress has been made (though lots more still needs to be done), however coding has been a slower process (naturally).
In terms of the actual storyline for the demo, it's already planned out, so less work needs to be done for that in comparison to the other aspects that we have planned out, allowing us to focus more on other stuff.
Music has also been going well, as some of the major songs are already in progress and are either being polished or worked on - something that will be evident in the near future.
Obviously, the demo will take time, yet we will try our best and make sure to post frequent updates.
- Name Change and Official Character Design-
During the week we were made aware of another project that had the same name as our human, so we decided to officially change it (as some of you might have seen, as we edited our posts) to Felix: inspired by the 'thumbs up' that the orange soul heals you with in the Omega Flowey fight.
With that being said, I highly suggest you check out the other game that had the same name, which you can find here (GameJolt page).
The creator, @Reeds_Archive , seems to be telling a wonderful story that seems very promising, so check that out.
As for the character design for Felix, we've had it ever since development began, however today we have finally decided to reveal the actual sprites in accordance with the name change.
- What else have we done? -
We've managed to complete a lot in the time we've spent creating this game. The main story is constantly being improved and so is our art, music and the such.
Lots more is being worked on at the moment, though our main focus is the demo at this point. We're making sure that you guys recieve as much teasers and updates as we can without spoiling too much, as we still want the demo to be a memorable experience for all of you.
With that being said, I hope you enjoy what we have currently, and we're eager to share more of our progress with you.
Until the next update
