DevLog #5 Intro Video and Mechanics pt1


Here is the first iteration of the intro.

There is still some work that needs to be done on it. I do realize that all the text needs to be bigger and fit. those are little things that I’m getting around to.

Towards the end of the video, you can see the landing mechanics that I have just put in today.

  • I plan to make space stations a huge part of the game.

At space stations in “Smashed Space” you can buy new ships or upgrade or up tier your own ship. you can hopefully sell your loot that you get from defeating pirates. In exchange, you get currency (empty beer bottles???) which then you buy the upgrades.

Little Update So I have fixed a bug that has been breaking the shop. But hey now it works and i have even put in a description for the ships. Now im going to keep working on the debris and soon reworking the starting cutscene.
