Devlog 5 - The Final Push!


I finally get to write this devlog after... a very long time of wanting to do so! We've been silent long enough, so here's what we've been up to in terms of Playtime with Percy's development.

THE FULL GAME IS DONE??

You read that correctly. The plan for this devlog (in particular) was to only release it once the entire game, start from finish, was fully complete. And we've finally reached that milestone! I honestly never would have imagined getting to this part right now, if I were to be honest... But I'm getting ahead of myself.

WE'VE GONE GOLD! BUT; That doesn't mean the game is done and ready yet. Full-throttle Beta Testing has begun on the entire game as we speak. We're gonna take a good while to iron out any bugs, fix some issues, and maybe add some small stuff we think you guys might enjoy. We've been testing smaller, more compact builds for a while, so going through the entire package will take time for sure.

As for stuff like release dates... you'll have to come back to us on that, sorry!

SO... WHAT NOW?

This devlog isn't long, so I'll keep to the point; we're going to be making the game as stable as we can make it at this time. I have a bunch of people going through the game as I speak, making sure everything functions as intended and nothing is broken (we already had 4 game-breaking issues...). But that's the fun part of it, right?

But understand, we are VERY close to the finish line. It's kind of surreal actually. What we made throughout the 1 year of development is insane. I think you guys might like it. And even if you don't, you could at least admire the craft of it. Because a lot of hard work from people around the world put this together, and I think that makes it all the better.

That'll be it from me! Apologies for nothing new to show anyway, we didn't know what to put! So as a small token of gratitude, I've went ahead and updated the screenshots one last time. It's not a lot, but it IS something, right?

I appreciate everyone for their patience and support, you don't have to wait much longer. Percy and Co. will be seeing you soon!

Second to last batch - it's Farmer Felix and Mother Moose! I originally had a different idea for MM's pose (that eventually went to Sunny), but I thought it'd be cute if these two specifically reflected each other :)
