Devlog Quickies 8: First look at what a Character Animation Sprite is gonna look like in the game!


And we are finally back with another Devlog Quickies, it is almost the end of August and I am gonna be going to collage again this Monday, so let's get to this thing shall we!

So just recently, I have finished my first ever sprite animation for the game, which is for Johnathan McCamperbelt himself.

If you are confused on as to why there is no color on Johnathan is because I am gonna give him different types of alternative colors for the game (this also applies to every playable characters for the game), and his default alternative color is the one I have been using for ages.

But yeah, the sprite animations in Doodle Madness: Shattered Memories, from the playable characters, the npcs, the enemies and even the boss fights will all be animated frame by frame, so it would've explained why the game is gonna be like an interactive cartoon!

It's been like a month since I haven't posted anything at all, well... I'm back and I have some brand new stuff that I am gonna show off very soon, like this new test footage on the revamped sprite's on Johnathan + room transitions.
