Devlog time!!

Today we talk about Chapter Zero!


We (I) have gotten a whole bunch of work done on Chapter Zero since I officially started it. At this rate, it should be playable in September!

Chapter Zero (still in need of a subtitle, lol) is going to be a sort of prologue, a prequel to the prequel. You take control of Alice to see what events brought her to where she is when SANS meets her.

Another thing I've been working on is the code for the costumes feature I've been talking about. For those who tuned in late - I decided that UNRELATED will feature some cosmetics. You know how you were disappointed in DELTARUNE when you didn't get to use your vessel? Well, in UNRELATED you don't get to make a whole new vessel, but you do get to customize the one you're given!

Also, I probably shouldn't show you guys this, but I'm just too impatient :3 This video is taken from just outside SANS's house, it's SANS's view of the Capital City. The sprites are incomplete, but with attention shifting to Chapter Zero it's going to be a little while before I finish it, so I thought I'd give you guys a sneak peek :3

UNRELATED update! working on the menu some more. Still trying to find a good font? I'll probably just use the UNDERTALE one, but I'm experimenting with some others. The one here is from EARTHBOUND!

Still working on my Earthbound playthrough, paused it to play through Pokemon Legends: Arceus. That said, still very much liking Earthbound and finding inspiration in it. You know what would be cute? If UNRELATED!Sans had a jammies sprite like Ness does.
