So I played the demo. It was quite shorter than I expected. (specially because is 100 mb, you need to learn to compress files better xd). But it wasn't bad or anything. Alice really dislikes being controlled a lot. Gaster really prefers making us control his own adopted son instead.
I also didn't expect Alice to be that gullible. Like just a few rooms in and she is already been forced to kill someone snowgrave route style.
Now, I know you wanted to make the game as canon as possible, but did it really need Flowey to be there? Specially so many years before when Undertale takes place. Like almost everything points to him being created after ALL the souls were captured. So unless there is some time travel shenanigans going around, I think it would be quite wierd.
Anyways enough rambling, good luck in development.

A: UNRELATED is being released in 4 chapters. Chapter Zero is out now! As for chapter one, the goal is sometime 2025. You can watch the progress in a to do list here.
Q: Is this an AU? How does it connect to UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE?
A: It's complicated. Let's just say it's UNRELATED ;) But seriously though, it's basically a prequel.

A: There's only one very questionable ending to this story.
Q: Does this fit into UNDERTALE YELLOW canon?
A: No. There might be a few out of universe references to UTY, but UTY and UDF exist in separate continuities.
