Well it's been a crazy month hasn't it?
Originally this community was going to be created by my ex-girlfriend Emily, but unfortunately that didn't come true due to her suicide.
So, while in my grief, I created this community because I knew that she would've loved a place where everyone in the LGBTQ community, no matter what part, could come together and know they could be accepted here, and get through the struggles in life due to being "different" just for being in the LGBTQ community. But you know what? Be different. At the end of the day, you are who you are and nobody can change that.
Honestly, I'd never thought this community would get many members. I knew that many people on Game Jolt would be part of LGBTQ, yet I didn't think just about a month later, we'd be at almost 50 members!
I wanted to thank everybody who is in this server, or even isn't in the server, but supports the cause. Whatever part of LGBTQ you are, from Ally to Two-Spirit, I'm thankful for everyone here.
I know at the moment this community is small compared to others, but who knows, maybe one day we'll be on the Explore page!
I've been planning to make a text adventure game about LGBTQ, and it is still in the planning phases. It has been taking a while to get things together because I want to tell a story, that is partially personal, but would you rather want a story that has many parts, but is very incomplete, or a story that has a good amount of parts, but is connected and possibly shows some emotion?
Again, I'd like to thank everyone that has joined this server, or checks this server whenever they can. It means a lot to me, and everyone else.
