Hey guys, as we get closer and closer to the release of NEW Smash Ringtail Cat, I want to provide you with instructions on how to get your game updated on itch.io.

For Starters, to those of you who’ve pre-ordered, I just want to say thank you for your support! Anyway, if you’re getting the digital deluxe version from itch.io, it’s only $1 to get everything including the update patches. It's important that you download the digital deluxe version first, and you can do one of two things to get your copy updated day 1:

1.) There’s a portable application option (which is useful to put on a usb stick, external hard drive, etc.) under the name “FULL GAME - Version 1.2.7”

2.) There’s an installer available for both Windows and macOS under the name “FULL GAME - Version 1.2.7 (Installer)”

TL;DR - It’s recommended to use the installer for updating the game. If you want to get a nice portable copy, get the application version and replace any application files with the digital deluxe folder. It should not affect anything.
