Does anyone have a fix for these glitches?

When Chapter 4 had just released, I switched the game to easy mode and I experience a glitch that once I switch the game to easy mode, it won't let me switch to normal mode.

I'm using the article thing to extend the post, just so you know.

I also experience a soft lock glitch where if I lose all my lives, I don't get sent to the game over screen and it just shows all my lives gone. The glitch would force me to close and reopen the game and I would sometimes lose progress in a level.

If someone knows how to fix it, let me know!

EDIT: I found a fix. As soon as you start any level, pause the game and go into the options menu and change the difficulty from easy to normal, if you set the game to normal but it still shows the "EASY MODE" text at the top of the pause menu. Just do the same thing but switch to easy mode, then normal mode again and that also fixes it. Hope this helps!

I beat Outlast 2 on Insane mode and spent 36.6 hours trying to beat it (going off of Steam's last two weeks of playtime.) This wasn't the most fun challenge I've faced in a game, but by the end of the game the perma-death felt well implemented.
