Hey guys, so it’s been six months since the latest bit of news has come out about the game. With the official two year anniversary of the original game on the horizon and over a year without a game being released, I feel it’s finally time to let you all know about the current progress of Drawkill’d 2.
As the title suggests, the game is not dead, it’s simply taken a lot longer time to make than I thought it would. The version that’s been teased was taking way to long to make any progress on. It was far too ambitious for my skill level, and for how long it would have taken to finish, I felt it was not worth it to finish in the long run.
Which is why I have redone the game yet again.
This now makes this the fifth version of Drawkill’d 2 that’s been worked on. Now, I know that you might think at this rate, the game will never be finished, however this time I wanted to work on the game to the point that I know that I will end up finishing it before I announce anything on it at all. This is currently the farthest I’ve gotten in making the game (being around 30%, I think,) and it hasn’t taken too long to get any progress on it.
The story hasn’t changed too much, as at this point it’s been finalized, however any subsequent teasers that have already been shown are now obsolete yet again.
Some may have also noticed that I have started to post more videos on my YouTube recently, namely gameplay videos and things like that. However, I have decided to post-pone any further videos until the game is finished (apart from the trailer, obviously).
I know you all have been waiting for a long time for this game, but now I can confirm you wouldn’t have to wait much longer. Expect a summer release at most. :)
Oh and one more thing …
