First off, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
I thought that going forward, instead of making small and random posts, I would show off game progress in larger Devlogs.
This devlog also commemorates the passing of 6 months since this game's creation, and since then, the plot and overall presentation has shifted immensely, and I thank all of you for sticking with me for so long.
Anyway it's not called a development log for nothing. So allow me to show you what I've been working on!
SPRITES
The battle sprites for Sans have undergone yet another revision, this will be the FINAL major change to the Spritework.
ACTS
A while ago, this image was posted to the game page. This actually depicts Act V. (You can find the real design in the sprite showcase) This fight takes place completely inside of Sans' own mind. Each of this fight's resolutions will affect the following path you take throughout the remainder of your journey.
CODING
Coding for this project, as of January 5th has officially begun. So far, my focus has been on the Final Encounter, with it also having a change of locations, from the last corridor to somewhere (???) in NEW HOME. So far only the first attack is finished. Dialogue is about at 40% Completion. With I my current plans, I will continue this fight, and have it play tested sometime around when I start Ruins encounter.
