I bared my fangs. You were all bite, I was nothing but bark. You bit directly into my neck, leaving me nothing but a disgusting shell of the thing I once was. 

I lived in your shadow, just like that of the moon I once trusted. Your venom rushed through my own ugly veins, and in that moment I wanted nothing more than to bite the hand that threatened.
