Decir que fuiste mi infancia fue poco, decir que fuiste una de mis grandes inspiraciones para ser artista fue poco, decir que me enseñaste valores a través de tu obra que formaron a la persona que soy hoy en día fue poco; mientras más recuerdo, más me doy cuenta que Dragon Ball estuvo presente en toda mi vida. Jugar al Super Saiyajin, coleccionar cartas, dibujar mis propios personajes de Dragon Ball, pasar horas jugando al Budokai Tenkaichi 3 con mi hermano, siempre estuviste ahí de forma indirecta.

Me enseñaste a no rendirme y llegar hasta el final. Me enseñaste a proteger a mis amigos y familia. Me enseñaste que no importa lo que suceda, siempre el animo mantener. Me enseñaste que hay que trabajar, hay que aprender, hay que comer, hay que descansar y también hay que jugar.

To say that you were my childhood was an understatement, to say that you were one of my greatest inspirations to be an artist was an understatement, to say that you taught me values through your work that shaped the person I am today was an understatement; the more I remember, the more I realize that Dragon Ball was present throughout my entire life. Playing Super Saiyan, collecting cards, drawing my own Dragon Ball characters, spending hours playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3 with my brother, you were always there in a vicarious way.

You taught me not to give up and to go all the way. You taught me to protect my friends and family. You taught me that no matter what, always keep my spirit up. You taught me that I have to work, I have to learn, I have to eat, I have to rest and I also have to play.
