Extreme Treadmill Survival 1.2 RELEASED!


It’s here!
The update you’ve all been waiting for!
Finally you can jump over sawblades, avoid sharks and even get impaled by falling spikes!

Increase your score by stomping on enemies and picking up dice!

You can even play the game in your browser!
And you can finally use your x360 gamepad to controll the game!

Full changelog:

Gameplay:

-Added gamepad support. (xbox 360 & Dualshock 3)

-Difficulty scales slower.

-Curse/Powerdown: Falling spikes.

-Powerup: Shield/Bubble.

-Curse/Powerdown: Shark attack.

-Powerup: Pogostick.

-Curse/Powerdown: Sawblade.

-More precise spike hitbox.

-More precise cannonball hitbox.

-New background song

Visuals:

-Head gore effect is sometimes is a skull and sometimes one with hair.

-Falling blood particle.

-Gravestone on death.

-Some spikes are bloody.

-Regular spikes become bloody on contact with player.

-Smoke is less transparent.

-Added water under treadmill.

-Added a white outline to the Extreme Treadmill Survival logo.

-Added a camera to the background.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
