I uploaded a new patch today with brand new dialogue in it to compliment an interesting approach that some players have taken. After all, the characters should react accordingly to what strange things you do. Spoilers below:

It is possible to go into Alice’s room, take the ball without talking to Alice about anything else, go into Jonas’s room, and hit Jonas with the ball before talking to him about anything else. This comes off as Karla picking up a ball, looking at someone, and without talking to him at all, hurting him with it for no reason whatsoever. No mention of who Jonas is, what useful information Jonas may have, etc. I was surprised at how many people do this.

I thought of coding it so that you would have to use Isaac or Jonas/Karla on him before throwing the ball, but instead, I like what you players have done. So, if you throw the ball at Jonas WITHOUT TALKING TO HIM ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE, INCLUDING DONUTS OR THE BANNER, then you get brand new special dialogue that properly reflects your bloodthirsty, extremely intimidating power move. From there, the game progresses as normal. Enjoy, you crazy rascals!

Bonus: I have included new dialogue for using the knife on yourself in Isaac’s Room. It is not a seperate ending or a brand new revelation, but I think you’ll enjoy the bit of dialogue.
