Hello people of gamejolt!
It sure has been a while since we last spoke hasnt it? there are good reasons for that but im not going to hold my entire speech again you can read it in the FD Discord linked at the bottom of this post.
But to give you the short version FD is getting remade from the ground up using ideas from the Legacy version.

Since the announcement of FD's revival in the public discord some stuff has happend behind the scenes I am really exited to show but its not quite ready yet but I promise you will see some of it in next months devlog.
So since there isnt a lot of stuff to show of in this devlog yet instead ill take this occasion to talk about my plans and what is changing in the development corner aswell is the changes you as future players will see. (also maybe a hiring message at the end no promises).
So... What is actually changing on the dev end?
A few changes are being made in the workspace mainly the switch from RMMV to Godot as engine for the game to be made on. I stand by my point that its 100% possible to make a great game in rpg maker just look at omori or oneshot. That said ive grown and become more experienced as a developer and godot better fits my current skill set.
And what will be changing for the general public?
Apart from the game partly taking a new direction story wise not a whole lot actually.
the music will still be based on blue's old composition.
the player will still fight chara in 2.5 phases.
So if thats what you are worried about rest assured.
Hiring?
Now FD isnt a small scale project and we have lost most original team members so i will do some recruiting. But i dont have enough info to actually start hiring yet so stay tuned for next devlog.
