Hello again people of gamejolt its been a month since the previous devlog and unlike that one we have a ton of really cool things to show you today so lets just get right to it.

With that out of the way lets get into it!:
Version 0.1:
The first thing we made for 0.1 was a fully functioning dialog system. This was a really easy task using the dialogic plugin for godot wich saved us a lot of time.
Have a look at some early footage of the dialog:
After that was done I got to making a basic main menu to use while testing and an early version of the opening cutscene that plays when a new run is started. After that cutscene is finished the player loads into a recreation of the throne room I made using some cool shaders. I also added some interactions to it using the previously mentioned dialog system, have a look at what the game looked like at that point:
After finishing up the look of the throne room I touched up the main menu using a knife button sprite kamalium made and now the menu looks super CRISP.
While I was doing that BlueBurst got to work on a new menu theme wich turned out super cool you can listen to it now on the music section.
the last things I had to do for 0.1 where a cutscene with geetr and the opening story panels. I made the cutscene using the godot animation player and the dialogic system and it turned out super good. I also made some music for this cutscene wich you can listen to on my youtube and the music section on the game page, have a listen:

I made the opening story panels using the dialog system and the old music for it we are adding art to it but that isnt done as of now.

Version 0.2:
As of now 0.2 isnt close to being done as the entire battle system infrastructure is being made in this version wich is a hard and time consuming task but there are a few things I can show off here.
The healthbar and system are fully functional the player can take damage and heal during battle:

We have the majority of content covered now but I still want to talk about all the character designs and sprites we have been working on aswell as a rework of some boss music:
