Party Members: Obtaining

One feature in the original FNAF World that felt draining was collecting Party Members, you had to keep grinding to get them all. In FNAF World: The Resurrection, there will be a variety of ways to obtain party members. Whilst challenger encounters will still happen for characters, you will be able to obtain a lot of characters through other means, for example simply just finding and talking to that character or earning them through a quest (More ideas are still being worked on for this feature)

Battle: Something a little more.. Special

If you've been around for the news posts or even just seeing the screenshot on the Gamejolt page, you'll have noticed that Freddy has a fourth move, "Toreador March", whilst we will not be revealing what that does just yet, we can now confirm this is Freddy's Special Attack. All characters will have a Special Attack, and it will be uniquely designed for that character.

Specials will be restricted only by two factors: Characters will need to reach Level 5, and you must have 1 "Pizza", earned by building up "Pizza Slices", which are gained by just using any move in battle.

We're hoping this will help with party diversity and improve the battle gameplay loop.

Demo News: It's still happening, In Phases

We've discussed Demos vaguely in the Community Discord Server in the past. We've been saying it is coming, but never gave anything concrete. Whilst we won't be pushing for a specific date (as deadlines are mentally draining, and a fair few team members have commitments like jobs, education, other projects and personal lives), we can say we have a plan in place that will allow us to provide content in phases. We will also be using these demos as focus testing, getting feedback in a specific area as opposed to everything all at once. As of this post, there are 2 phases in the pipeline.

Demo 1st Phase will be simple, a battle demo. It will contain a selection of characters (which we will not confirm yet since the obtainable pool can change) and free access to all of Fazbear Hills (which may not be a representation of the final version).

Demo 2nd Phase will introduce NPCs and Quests, possibly a few more characters and 2 more areas.

Lastly: The Gamejolt Page

We've been working on giving the Gamejolt page a refresh in the background to better fit the current team and plans for the game. We have most of the stuff ready, but won't be making the refresh until we know it's 100% ready.

We appreciate all of you in this community, who are sticking with us. FNAF World: The Resurrection has had a long, bumpy journey. Hopefully this team is the team that gets it to the end of the track.
