Hello Everyone!
Yesterday was sadly a bust, had to update Unity, and I am currently getting internet off a wifi stick, so I was downloading the update at an astounding 20kb/s.
Today however, I have been busy. I’ve taken the old overworld (the place you train) and have scrapped it completely. There are going to be multiple portions in the new overworld (just to get it running smooth, one big world can get laggy). I’ve more or less completed the first portion, this portion has your home, a few other homes (staff/ect), a dojo (to learn skills) and a shop to buy various items.
When you walk up to a building (only moving left and right), a little popup will appear to tell you how to enter the building (press a button). From there you will be taken into an indoor environment, those I have not constructed yet.
There will be other areas, training areas (multiple) (training will be far more interactive than clicking a button, it will require you to pay attention and what not, more on this later). The other area is a farm, where you can grow restore plants, they will have a different purpose in this version, they save you from near death after a fight, and if you die during and after a fight… you go to the afterlife :O
As you can see, my game is inspired by Dragon Ball, sort of. I’ve got a lot of plans for this, and there will be more training areas. I have a lot of work to do to get this game looking more like I envisioned, there will be lots of news article updates, no eta on the alpha though, it will be read when it’s ready.
