Final round!

And finally the entry is ready to download on time!

To be honest, this is not the result I had in mind, there are many things that I had to trim so I could finish something playable on time… but this is a jam, waht did you expect?! xDD

I know that the experience is very short, there are few interactive elements, you can find grammatical errors, the save/load system may fail and other bugs… sorry in advance but I couldn’t do more in 14 days.

On the other hand I’m surprised and happy with the result, it has been a great challenge and I have learned many new things and of course I had a great time!

I also want to thank my great friend Python Blue for creating this wonderful music, it’s not easy to work with so little time and he has done a great job… THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

The good news are that I want to continue with the development, I don’t know how much time this can take me but I will do, so stay tuned for more!

Finally thanks to Cassie Benter & Stacy Davidson for giving us this wonderful jam one more year and thanks to the judges for play our games ;-)

Well, nothing more, I will try to play the other entries because there are many talented persons who have worked very hard, good luck to everyone!

See you!

Adding water to the island and a very cool texture for the seabed!

Adding interactive objects

More progress! Finished the sky with some lovely pink clouds! It seems that I have almost finished with the exterior, next step: the house interior, add interactive props, add puzzles, main menu… a lot of work!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!

Explosive domino effect

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
