Finally there

So I’ve finally added build 1.0.0 or the “complete build” (as complete as this game will ever be.) The game now has a start and an end and is at a place where I feel comfortable laying it down to rest.

When I started this project I had practically no experience in GML or pixel art or anything and learned a lot making it, while also hopefully succeeding at giving a nod and a jab at retro shooters from the NES-era. With this I’m moving on to new projects and I’ll take with me everything I learned making this to whatever quirky retro thing I make next. I’d like to thank everyone who played/viewed/shared/gave feedback and want to give a special shoutout to Moose (twitter.com/moose_tunes) for severely raising the overall quality of the game through his chiptune additions.

Peace out :)

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
