First devlog, let's goo!!

The Undertale Resurrection demo is coming along well, and we hope to finish it and publish it by around late spring to early summer next year, just in time for the 10th anniversary of Undertale.

Before we continue, just know that this will all be for the demo of the game, not the full game.

Coding is about 40% complete, we're still working on programming cutscenes, and a test battle for the demo as well. There's a couple other smaller cutscenes that will need to be done, but that's for the Mapping section.

Music is about 70% done, we need a few more themes for the demo before we program it into the game.

Art is about 60% complete or so, we're still needing sprites made in certain areas, but other than said sprites needing to be made and rigged.

Mapping is 80% complete, mostly just needing to make maps for the final cutscene, but once it's done, we hope you enjoy the maps.

Overall, we are on track to finish the demo around the given time earlier in this article, but we don't have an official date yet, so stay tuned for that!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.๐Ÿ›ก๐Ÿ—ก Bookmark pre-launch page๐Ÿ”–๐Ÿ”–๐Ÿ”–

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...
