SWAPFELL - GOD'S WILL

First one out of the batch of updates you all should be expecting to see.
This one will be overall just to give an insight on how much stuff we already have done for the game.

The Spritework.

Most of the spritework regarding the first overworld section of the Exhaltation fight (Or in other words, the Genocide fight) are done, like the Papyrus overworld sprites, Chara's sprites, the scenarios, the dialogue sprites for Papyrus and the general animations needed for the first cutscene.

The sprites still needed to be done for the overworld section are the ones for the fight's aftermath, like the inside of Toriel's church and whatnot.

All of the spritework for Papyrus' fight is also done, including things like attack sprites, UI sprites and general miscellaneous stuff, so nothing really is missing from it.

In short.
Spritework is around 40% done.

The Sound Design.

The general sound work for the game is half done. As some of you may already know, the Papyrus theme for the genocide run is already fully done and won't be touched on until further notice.
Most of the sound design for the overworld and fight is also done, with just a few sound-effects here and there still needing to be worked on.

The expected release regarding the OST should be of around 10 songs, with 3 of them already being done and 1 being on it's finishing stages.

In short.
The sound design is around 30% done.

The Writing and General Concept Work.

Most of the main writing for the Exhaltation route is finished, and the main concept for it has been already long estabilshed.

All of the Pre-fight and fight dialogue for Papyrus is fully done, and has been revised already countless times to perfectly showcase the personality I envisioned for Papyrus in Swapfell.
Only real thing missing concept wise is how the end of the fight will go attack-wise. (As in, we don't have the attack patterns written down yet for the last attack haha)

In short.
Concepts and writing is overall 50% done.

Coding work.

The coding is still on it's early stages. Ben, our programmer, is taking things slow and trying to properly portray my vision for the fight the best way he can.
At the moment, the entire overworld section for the Pre-fight is done, and progress on the coding for the fight itself is very on early stage.

Overall.
Coding is around 15% done.

Conclusion.

The game is of course, still very on early stages, and for the moment I don't think I'll be able to showcase any big teasers for the game. (Not that I really plan on teasing the game so much, I'm not the kind of person to constantly update people about even the minor of details).

Of course, there is no preview for a release date, since I don't want to have to crunch up any of my other teammates into grinding out work, but I can say that there's a chance we well at least finish up the main fight at least by the end of the year.

And just a short disclaimer. There will be no public demos released for the public, as I want to release the game only when it is at it's full potential.

But, for the meantime, here's a small screenshot as a taste for what we're working for, since I'm sure a lot of you are excited to see what we got in store.

Second development toll! So sorry for the wait, I know I said the next one would be posted soon on my last post, but it took me a good while to get motivated to come here and write another huge post for yall lol. So lets get to it!

Biblically accurate Swapfell Papyrus.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Just a Pico sprite

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Why walk when you can jump?

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
