First update and our impressions from the first week on Early Access

Needless to say that no matter how well you prepare there will always be some tiny detail that will be missing..

THANKFULLY for us this was just some minor bugs (such as the quit button that for some reason it decided that functioning is overrated sigh)

We also refined the hitbox of Robbie that .. didn’t feel fair enough as our first visitors pointed out (to whom we are trully thankful for both reaching out to help and for purchasing our game even though it is on Early Access ❤ )

To be honest we had no clue what to expect from the launch of the game since it is a platformer with hand-crafted levels (which makes it a finite experience in contrast to roguelike or online multiplayer titles) so the fear we had that our game would be ignored wouldn’t go away until we finally launched.

Luckily enough we found out that there was both enough content for our first users to enjoy and that there were actually people that had no problem with the roadmap we have set for our game (practically releasing the first of the 4 temple areas with the plan to submit major updates that will include +1 temple area with each major updates as soon as we can - without compromising on quality or volume of content)

A big THANK YOU to press sites and youtubers!

We definitely owe a big part (if not most of the part) of our initial impact on press writers and youtubers that spread the word about Robbie Swifthand, we are planning to figure out a way to repay the favor for their services, we are currently WAAAYYY BUSIER than we expected to do that at this moment but hey .. if we make a party to celebrate the full release they are the first people to be invited for sure!

We found out that it would be a good idea to keep everyone posted about our progress as we have already started to work on the 2nd temple area without spoiling anything major about it so if you want to see our most recent updates you can tune in here on Gamejolt, on our facebook page, twitter or instagram !

One thing before we close

We are sure we won’t cover everyone’s needs with these dev vlogs since we are … lets say “dev vlog virgins” so feel free to comment below what other aspects of our journey you’d like to hear more from our side and (if it’s not very inapropriate ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) we’ll make sure to cover it!

Thank you for reading this wall of text, if you haven’t checked out our game on Steam yet please do so by following this abnormally atractive link
