So I finished playing the new demo for Five Nights At Freddy's: Blood & Gears and I thought the demo was alright. Could have been better with a bit of extra content but I think it's a good way to show off what we could get from the full game!
1. The Office Design
I thought the design of the office was pretty nice, though personally i thought i felt it was like a bit of a boring design by like 5% but the props were good. I am looking forward to seeing how the office gameplay will be in the full game when it comes out!
2. The arcade minigame
The atmosphere and environment were done pretty well! I thought the little details and such were neat and the arcade itself was well...kinda lame for me. It was basically the chrome dinosaur game but one thing i love is the ost! The ost of this arcade goes so hard and i really do hope it gets posted cuz i just wanna vibe to it lol.
3. The Animatronic Threats
The animatronic's was at a pretty good threat level. But one thing about this fangame that just makes it not scary for me personally is the designs. They just aren't really that scary and while I know they are meant to be based off irl animatronics like the studio c chuck e cheese bots i just don't get intimidated by them at all and the jumpscares aren't really creepy or scary either. But I will not deny that the designs are quite fun to look at and that the models are very well made!
4. The Puppet teaser
I thought this teaser of the puppet was quite a surprise actually! And so far i think the design from what we have right now looks pretty good! I look forward to seeing the full model and design in the future.
5. Misc & End
And that is my full review on the demo for Five Nights At Freddy's: Blood & Gears! A very well made and high quality fangame project and an alright demo to give us a tease of the game and what it brings. My top favorite parts would definitely be the puppet teaser and the arcade minigame ost, the voice acting and sound design was good as well!
So I bid you all adieu and go give Five Nights At Freddy's: Blood & Gears and @JDBRYANTdev a follow!
