I've been a fan for a long time now, I was young when I first saw it and then got interested.

For me at the time, it was the community where it was real for me. It was all those Source filmmaker animations, Minecraft mods, fanmade games, and artwork that came around that got me interested in trying out the games themselves. At the time I first played, only FNaF 1 and 2 had been released.

I came to the community way later, due to the fact that I preferred privacy and invisibility on the internet back then. FNaF gave me a reason to give myself a profile and stay on not just Game Jolt, but also Roblox which I had joined earlier in december 2016. It's all thanks to FNaF! And so, overtime, my own fangame saga; Wolfy's Hotel, came to be. Happy 11th anniversary to Five Nights At Freddy's!
