Five Nights at Friedrich's v1.0.1 - PATCH NOTES


ADDITIONS

- Added a "Sync Trophies" button to the Extras menu that will update your Game Jolt trophies to match your ingame trophies

-- This will also remove trophies from your Game Jolt account if you don't have them in-game, be careful when using it!

-- Trophies will automatically sync when you first log in.

-- This change makes "Old-School Pro", "No One Will Ever Believe You", and "It's Mine" obtainable!

- Added a confirmation popup when changing Video options. If settings aren't confirmed after 10 seconds, they will revert back to the old settings. This will prevent any resolution-related softlocks

- Added a "Jumpscare" volume slider to options

-- This is parented to the "SFX" slider, meaning adjusting SFX volume will still adjust jumpscare volume too

TWEAKS

- "$200 Pizza" trophy will show its description after unlocking Cooking Clara

- "Funny Guy!!" trophy will show its description after beating 7/20 + All Challenges

- Updated description for "Funny Guy!!" trophy to be more clear

BUGFIXES

- Fixed an issue with the 32-bit version freezing on loading screen

- Fixed an issue where clicking "Done" in Cooking Clara before the order is revealed results in an instant-win

- Fixed an issue where easter egg TV screens in the Rumpus Room were way too common

- Fixed an issue where menu camera transitions could be changed after clearing save data

- Fixed an issue where the trophies menu wouldn't update until you exit and reopen Extras

- Fixed a spelling mistake in the description of trophy "Old Dog, New Tricks"

- Fixed a visual bug where Cooking Clara's timer reaches negative 0

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

- For anyone still experiencing crashes/freezes:

- PLEASE make sure you're only running the 32-bit version if you have a 32-bit system. You can verify this by typing "About my PC" in the start menu and checking out Device Specifications > System Type. If you're not sure, then you almost definitely have a 64-bit system.

- Beyond that, it may just be an issue with low RAM or incompatible hardware, which I can't do much about. Crashes are still being actively researched, so something may change. Sorry for the inconvenience!

- Now that the patch is out, the official Friedrich's soundtrack is coming to Youtube and Game Jolt very soon!

Originally, the song "Fritter Fallen" was going to be a lot longer. However, I got a bit carried away with the cool badass guitars, and realized the tone of the song didn't really fit the melancholy ending. So I trimmed it short.

This one's a bit unfinished, but Pfingstmontag was the original draft for the Extras menu theme! I changed my mind because it seemed way too cheery, even for an Extras menu.

While working on Friedrich's, I had an idea for a spinoff game, but it never really got past the idea phase. The only evidence of its existence is a few songs I wrote. This song, titled "Halls", would've been the theme of the restaurant during the day
