Five Nights at Friedrich's will release in two weeks! Here's what you gotta know (Blog Post)

How surreal! It's been a long ride, but the full version Five Nights at Friedrich's is just two weeks away! Who's ready for June 27th?

Development has been going swimmingly! The game is feature-complete outside of a few bits of polish and a couple more easter eggs, and the testers have been doing a fantastic job at helping me tweak the gameplay to be as fun as possible. Hopefully you will all be pleased!

Anyway, with the game just about ready, here's what you can expect from Five Nights at Friedrich's:

- A full five-night campaign and bonus sixth night! Expect the unexpected...

- Custom Night! Featuring:

- 7 animatronics

- 3(?) togglable challenges

- 3 playable nightguards, each with their own difficulties

- 3 Minigames! Loreheads rejoice!

- 32 Game Jolt trophies! You'll have to master 7/20 + All Challenges and tear this game apart for secrets if you wanna get them all.

- An original soundtrack! Lose yourself in the jazzy vibrations of the Fazbär Band.

- Did I mention secrets? Oh yeah. Plenty of secrets.

That's just an overview! I'd love to tell you more but I wanna let you guys discover some things on your own.

"But ryon! I can't wait two weeks. I will turn into a pillar of salt!"

Fear not!! In just ONE WEEK (June 20th), a full-on Friedrich's trailer will be dropping, featuring roughly 2 minutes of Friedrich's goodness, including some NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN FULL-GAME FOOTAGE. You might even get to see that Felix minigame.

One more important date: the #FriedrichFanCharacter contest ends on June 22nd @ 11:59 PM ET! If you wanna potentialy get your artwork in the game, this is your last chance!

Alright, that's it for now. Just wanted to break up the radio silence a bit and let you know things are good! I will see you all for the full-game trailer NEXT WEEK!

Just for fun, here's the first draft I ever did of Finger Lakes. I'd only written the first minute, and it left a lot to be desired.

Tomorrow will be the last song in this series, and it'll be a new song for an existing character. Can you guess who?

Last song! This is another new song from that cancelled Friedrich's spinoff, an updated theme for everyone's favorite yellow nightguard, Ella Vanilla! This version of Ella has chilled out just a bit, but she still loves her job!

Originally, the song "Fritter Fallen" was going to be a lot longer. However, I got a bit carried away with the cool badass guitars, and realized the tone of the song didn't really fit the melancholy ending. So I trimmed it short.

Friedrich's Game Jolt Stickers WAVE 4 - NOW AVAILABLE (Placed charged stickers on my posts to get em!!)

The previously mentioned Friedrich's spinoff would've been a VN where you play as a detective, investigating after the events of Friedrich's. You'd meet all sorts of wacky characters, including the mysterious lady who signs the checks! This is her theme.

Five Nights at Friedrich's OST is now available to listen on Youtube! Go listen to the Night 5 music!! (And the other songs too) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALM62_BiY2s&list=PL1TTurwrxLoMV4…

So I made this a while ago, but there is now a RYON Game Jolt community for all current and upcoming RYON stuff. The rules are the same as the Friedrich's community, just expanded to include all ryon crap. Please join! https://gamejolt.com/c/ryon-se4zgc

This one's a bit unfinished, but Pfingstmontag was the original draft for the Extras menu theme! I changed my mind because it seemed way too cheery, even for an Extras menu.

LIVESTREAM: THIS SATURDAY, JULY 12TH @ 12PM NOON, come ask me questions while I draw WAVE 4 of Friedrich's Game Jolt stickers! Afterwards, I'll be playing FRIEDRICH'S and providing a "director's commentary." Don't miss this one! https://www.youtube.com/live/wsfrCJJimp0

While working on Friedrich's, I had an idea for a spinoff game, but it never really got past the idea phase. The only evidence of its existence is a few songs I wrote. This song, titled "Halls", would've been the theme of the restaurant during the day
