Hello everyone! This is Alex, a member of Team Silly who will be writing the devlogs you see on this page about the game. This first devlog is mainly to give out some more information regarding this fangame in the form of an FAQ of sorts. 

So, without further ado here ya go!

What is Five Nights at PizzaBoy’s?

Five Nights at PizzaBoy’s is a FNaF Fangame based on Pizza Tower. Specifically based on the level “Don’t Make A Sound”. You play as Gerome, the janitor of the Pizza Tower. He is hired by Pizza Face (or rather forced against his will) to work at PizzaBoy's Pizz-Pizza to make sure the place doesn't go under just yet. Almost as soon as he starts working his first night, he finds out it won't be so easy...Someone seems to have done something to anger the animatronics, so now Gerome has to defend himself against them for FIVE whole nights to get his paycheck of $1 at the end of the week.

How will the game play?

FNaPB plays similarly to a traditional FNaF game. You have three doorways and a vent above you in your office that animatronics can come from. You have a few ways of warding off these threats. For one on your security cameras, you have the ability to set off alarms to lure animatronics away from your office. However, if they do happen to reach your office you also have access to a shotgun. This shotgun allows you to shoot an animatronic back from the doorway, but it uses some of the limited ammo you have at your disposal. So be careful when using it!

Does this game have lore?

Similar to Pizza Tower, this game does have some lore but it’s not as prevalent as the gameplay.

Will the game have a custom night?

It is currently being decided if the base game will have a custom night or if the custom night will be added in an update after the main game releases. (let us know what you would prefer!)

What stage of development is the game currently in?

As of now the game has basically just started. We have almost everything we want to implement written down and now it really just consists of us getting things done.

Are you looking for any more team members?

Yes! Currently our most needed members are an animator who can animate frame by frame in the Pizza Tower style and a programmer who is familiar with Game Maker. Let us know if you want to help and show us some stuff you’ve done in the past as well!
