Flappy Monokuma's 1st Anniversary + V1.3 Update

It's Flappy Monokuma's 1st anniversary of release on GameJolt (if you even care about it pfft), and here I am to reveal a few things about the next update.

At first, I released the game as an inside joke between me and a couple of friends on Discord. I really hated it at first and I kept making fun of how bad it was. But as time passed, for some reason I've decided to improve some features in the game.
And at this point, I thought that somehow this could actually turn into a fun little game to pass time, if I added more and more to it. And that's exactly what I am trying to do.
But of course, it's not my main priority at the moment, as I do have other projects that I am trying to focus on as well.

Anyway, with my statement already said, here's a little preview on the development for V1.3.

As you can see here, a lot of stuff has changed since the last version, such as for example the aspect ratio of the game being changed to 16:9 (the older resolution was to make the game look more like an actual mobile game, just like Flappy Bird).

And also, the game is now going to be entirely themed around Ultra Despair Girls, the game in which Ball Monokuma originated from. More details are being revealed soon.

And that's basically it! I had many problems while I was developing the game, like some of the GMS files corrupting and such, but I managed to fix these and make a backup.

Anyway, stay safe, and remember that soon enough 2021 will be rising upon us.

See y'all next year :)

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa MarĂa Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!

(Btw, sorry for the double post! I'll try to post less)
