Flower Garden on http://PCGamer.com

So this fun little game I messed around with for a couple weeks actually got featured in PC Gamer’s “The Best Free Games of the Week” (of August 15th 2014, I’m a little late, sorry).

It’s really humbling to see my game “Flower Garden” being talked about in such a positive way by the author.

The comments also amaze me. Here are my favorite quotes:

“Are people going out of their ways to make games ugly recently?”

errr wait… maybe this one?

“Could you try and include at least 1 game a week that doesn’t look like it was programmed in the 80’s?”

…ummm…

“What are these, Atari games?”

…well… this ones not so bad:

“I suppose they’re free for a reason.”

Well you get the idea. Despite their confrontational exterior I’m sure they actually love Flower Garden!! Stay jolly internet!

New challenges & new effects!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM
