It's time for a new devlog! This one will be a bit smaller than the previous ones due to reasons I will soon state, but for now...
Design Reveal: Clone Yoshi
Here is Clone Yoshi at last! Compared to the previous two designs, this clone is perhaps the simplest and will be when the rest of the cast is designed, but sometimes that is the best way to go. For the Yoshi part of the design, I focused on the more "classic" Yoshi design. As for what makes this clone stand out, I gave Clone Yoshi a proper dress that is way more effective than just...a bib.
By the way, I settled on Clone Yoshi's identity as the real Yoshi's gender is an interesting factoid: Clone Yoshi self-identifies as female! I didn't want to make her look "girly", instead wanting to go for a more natural approach. This technically completes the main cast of clones who perform at Sonic and Mario's Party Place!...since Clone Luigi defected, that is.
Progress/Life Update
The reason why I made this devlog smaller is because I haven't touched back on the game itself in a while due to a peculiar complication. I've been a little tangled up with my summer class and it has put me in a weird state where I just...can't figure out what to exactly do most of the time. I've been struggling to settle on dedicating my time on the class and FNaS1G, or even doing anything at all. I can't figure out if this is me being burnt out from constantly having to deal with academics or it has to do with an internal struggle of mine, but just know that the game isn't being screwed over anytime soon. I have a good idea on what I want to do next...the only thing I need is some sort of push or condition to get sprung back into action.
I did mean this devlog was shorter compared to the rest, but that's not a bad thing. The character roster image will be updated to include Clone Yoshi's design as soon as possible. Speaking of, the next character in line to be designed is Clone Tails, so expect him to show up in an upcoming devlog! See you next post!
