Aquacreep is currently being remade in 3D using the Unity engine! It will be free to play and follow the same story as the 2D version, which is playable for free here: https://gamejolt.com/games/the-creeps-live-on/280540

The game follows the same story and features the same mechanics, a shapeshifting creature has infiltrated your crew during a tropical storm out on an isolated ocean research facility, and you need to follow the clues to figure out who is human…and who is the aquacreep in disguise!

For anyone who dosn’t know, the creature in question stems from my “Astrocreep” series, a game like “The Visitor” where you have to guide an alien parasite around an area and kill people to evolve. In Aquacreep, you play as the humans trying to survive as the creature takes over and impersonates your crew members one by one in a situation inspired by the 1982 movie “The Thing”.

You can talk to the crew and decide who among your lot is really human, and who is a homicidal monster from below the tides!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
