Fonts and Fullscreen

Some updates (1/9/2017)

Today I figured out how to add my own font dynamically using sprites. I was having trouble getting the font I wanted to work in my game…so instead I just made my own. It’s just a simple pixel font, but it works very well with the style and feel of the game. And now I don’t have to worry about permissions and all of that.

I also added a fullscreen button, so should you want to play big, no worries, you’ll be covered at launch. ;)

I also tweaked the explosions, fixed a bunch of bugs, got the scores displaying properly, and spruced up the way space looks. Not bad for a day’s work, if I do say so myself.

Honestly, I’m really loving the way the game is turning out. I really think you guys are going to enjoy it! :D

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
