Hey everyone, I’m writing this with a really heavy heart to let you all know that I’m going to be stepping away from Gamejolt and going on an official hiatus for a while. As of right now, I’m looking at being gone for anywhere from 1 to 4 months, depending on how things unfold.

I wish I was leaving on better terms, but I’m currently dealing with a nightmare situation involving my dog. To be completely blunt, she is in critical condition and at a very high risk of passing away. While we were out, she unfortunately came into contact with some human waste from a homeless person and tried to eat it. It sounds gross, but it turned into a life-or-death emergency because the vets suspect there was methamphetamine in the person's system that passed into hers.

It is absolutely terrifying to see your pet go through something like this. Seeing her struggle after such a freak, localized accident has honestly left me a wreck. Because her condition is so volatile right now, I need to put 100% of my focus, energy, and finances into her recovery and making sure she gets the medical attention she needs to survive this.

I won’t be active here, I won’t be responding to comments, and development/posts are going to be on total standby. I love this community, but my priority has to be my best friend right now. I hope you guys can understand why I need to disappear for a bit to navigate this trauma and (hopefully) help her pull through.
