Force Defender 1.0 Nearly Here

As the deadline for Indie Quilt soon apporaches so does the complete 1.0 experience that is Force Defender. I have had a lot of fun making this game and it has been a great learning experience. Afterwards I will be taking a break from development to focus on other areas of my life (Pixel art, music, school, etc) and afterwards I’ll either work on another program or fiddle with this idea of a full fledge Force Defender game. The sky’s the limit here so who knows.

So far everything is done…I’ve just used Unity’s new UI that got in the 4.6 beta and that made my life a lot easier so great timing on releasing that Unity peoples. All that’s left is to program Level 10 and replace my placeholder sounds. Also having some layering issues but a quick change to my code will fix that up and if time permits I would like to have sound effects for getting hit and shooting out those ever powerful Force Shots.

With the finish line in sight I decided to let any of you who are following Force Defender on this Game Jolt page to know what’s going on. I sincerly cannot wait for people to play the full version of Force Defender!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
