Freaking finally, they're cutting things down a little bit.

One standalone Copilot app is fine enough. That's it.

I know I talk about AI a lot these past few months (sorry😭), but I think this may be one subtle good sign. Very unlikely, though, because this video just came out yesterday.

First and foremost, I'll finally admit that Microsoft does kind of suck after seeing all of these issues.

I wouldn't say they're evil, but from what I can see, they’re clearly insecure. I can understand they wanted to be the first to be the first to have all of this fancy AI stuff, but as many of you may know, all of this was just for the impression of the shareholders and investors for short-term growth.

I still find it super funny that the CEO of MS apparently "cannot imagine a life without AI," because why bother actually looking back in the Windows 7 era, am I right?

And looking at their social media profiles (YouTube and Instagram), literally all they talk about is Copilot.

One AI app is enough. 2 is kind of pushing it, but putting Copilot everywhere (which nobody is using) is just excessive. So, adding all of this up, I believe they have a completely different view on the technology itself than the rest of us. They see it as a "productivity enhancement" but for all of us, it's just something we occasionally use and not a HUGE part of our lives.

First, Copilot came out as a preview. Then Office 365 was then renamed to "Microsoft Copilot 365", and then it spreads from there like a virus. Built-in assistance on the Office apps, Bing, even their own website, it's everywhere. Man, they were so hyper addicted to it, aren't they.

Oh yeah, Copilot and Copilot 365 are 2 completely separate things.

The Office app now looks like this.

I mean, I remember back before this was a thing, it used to be a home for just Office apps and that's about it. Now it's a...chat app?

It does make a lot of since if nobody is using this because, well, for one, we don’t need this much AI. Second, we can mostly do things on our own entirely just like the Windows 7 days where AI tools don’t exist. All of us have grown up like this, so no freaking wonder nobody uses this. I don't really use this, either.

I only used just ChatGPT and the standalone main Copilot, and that's it. I think the standalone Copilot is the only usable app since it is just like ChatGPT.

Also, a little personal thing I wanna share, this whole time I’ve been using Windows 11 since its launch, I had very little issues with it, and I have heavily configured it so it’s pretty much a very quite system for me with no ads or pop ups at all. Still investigating the telemetry stuff, though.

All I care about is doing all kinds of things on Windows mostly without AI and have only 2 AI apps installed.

Regardless of all of this, I think it’s safe to say that they have forgotten what it’s really like to work and create without AI. My childhood is a perfect example, and I have a pretty sharp memory of it, so I know what life was like back in the day.

By the way, market share for Windows 11 is slowly dying down, even though it is very slow.

As for the past 2 years, it barely changed except the day of Windows 10’s end of support, with MacOS being pushed forward quickly.

Linux is hilariously stuck at a smooth line, lol.

Well, Microsoft cutting down the AI stuff is a good sign but a very small one as Windows is still far from decent because of the countless list of issues.

I’m sure one day, they would stop all of this madness. Maybe not anytime soon, but one day.

I’ve been using Windows for pretty much my entire life, as young as I was only 5 years old, so I loved Windows for a very long time.

If Microsoft prioritizes consumer value over shareholders, even if it meant losing investments and shareholder value (which is probably for the best), then none of that would matter as Windows would still just be as excellent as Windows 7.

Until then, we’re gonna have to watch these weird practices launch and sometimes point our fingers and laugh.

For Windows itself, since it is not too messy and still my system I can configure, I would just go on with my day and not waste energy getting mad. That’s all I’m saying.

Final note, I found a good video you guy can watch. It’s the Windows 11 Crisis by ColdFusion: https://youtu.be/zKjo8Oc2qLk?si=StUtfqBMgRhUhlJs

Impressive game quality for an AMD Radeon graphics card on my Z13. Fans do blast a little, but it handles pretty well, even at 60 FPS.

Only downside? Extreme battery draining. That's it.

Office Gummies. I would eat them if they exists.

(Not my image btw. I grabbed it from their Instagram page.)

I got myself a new PC since the battery on my Victus laptop has aged, so it's not good for portability anymore.

This new one I got is an ASUS ROG Flow Z13.

It's by far, my 4th owned PC throughout my life.

"You see that Crap? All that horror crap! Things coming out of crates eating people. Dead people coming back to life. People turning into weeds for crisis sake!" Stan Hopkins (Billy's Absuive father)

I can't believe it's this hard to make a frown or at least a neutral face rather than a smile.

Nobody is probably going to take me seriously if I use a smiling avatar, lol.

There's now a separate department that mainly focuses on AI, and it was created just more than a year ago?

That makes a lot of sense on why they're always excited on it.

At least Copilot will always be better than Google freaking Gemini.

You can now shoot while flying in midair.

I also bumped the new build to v4.5 instead of v4 because of the new things and fixes I'm going to include.

Oh no, I’m already starting out to learn Kanji.

Another Genshin Impact collab.

What a wonderful night to end off of, huh?

Since the v4.5 is long enough, you can now save your progress.

P.S. I'm currently developing the system.
