From now on, I recommend Lubuntu for your old laptops & old pc because it is lighter than Xubuntu and more similar to a Windows interface than XFCE.

That's what I did I simply replaced the Linux Lite installation on my grandmother's old laptop with Lubuntu because it's less buggy.

I won't give the link, but there's a community that's improving the MC Legacy source code, and it works great with Proton. And yes, the source code leaked on 4chan a few days ago.
