The game's level system is actually capped at certain numbers in each world, and the limit is increased throughout the game, maxing out at level 16 in Planet X. The specific numbers for each world are:

I realize RED and the Emarceo are kind of similar. Read the article for the reasons on why.

Textboxes on the board will scale with the monster's name now. Otherwise, names like Titanosaurus or Space Godzilla wouldn't fit.
